- Kates Skates started life in Barrow, Cumbria as a small skate shop attached to a skatepark. We had aspirations of providing the local community with quality skate products at competitive prices. Branching out from ice and inline, we've grown to dominate the scene. Still operating from Barrow, we're mail order specialists selling skates, skateboards, scooters, hardware, shoes, protection and much more for over 20 years.
